Identity Research (Arbormann)

I decided to take a quick look into branding identitys. The designs below are by Gareth Hardy. I found his portfolio online on behance.net and was immediately impressed with his range of designs. His designs are very much image based and incorperate typography to justify the design.
The colour pallets for each design are very different. The designs have a very quircky style with a soft finish to the designs.
I will be using this range as inspiration for my arbormann design. I want to incorperate imagery into my logo - however i dont want it to be a massively detailed design. The examples below are a perfect inspiration for what im going for.
