Heineken - Commercial Gods
It has to be said - Heineken are commercial gods. With their recent walk in fridge ad - I decided to have a look at other designs which have been produced for them. And below I have my favorite. We all know 3D is getting big at the minute - and this huge ad board uses shadows to its absolute advantage. Heineken - not only a great drink but also a brilliant advertisement producer.

More street art
I have always been a fan of street art and after my recent trip to Melbourne (Oz) its come back hard. In melbourne they have streets dedicated to street artists. I decided to look into artwork produced on the streets as I have a potential, self-written competition brief that could include street artists and illustrators alike.
There are no particular artists I have looked at below - I simply googled the images and took the ones i felt were my style and the type of artwork i would love to include in this brief.

McDonalds are a worldwide fast food branch - so it comes to no suprise that they have some of the best advertising around. Below are several of my favorite examples.
Below 1 + 2: Using the concept of fresh food in a busy urban area is a brilliant idea - and McDonalds did it. The ad below is so affective and mind blowing that it spreads word of mouth .. and we all know what that does. Makes us hungry and crave a McDonalds. I want one rite now just writing about the damn things.

Very simple yet imaginative and affective design once again from McDonalds. With the eye immediatley being drawn towards the newspaper print - you just scan over the sign on the right telling you to try the new breakfast sandwich. McDonalds ... you clever people.
McDonalds advertising campaigns
McDonalds does a lot for me. Feeds me, hydrates me and inspires me (only in advertising, not cooking) These recent advertisements are mind blowing in terms of 'on the street' design. Especially pieces which the viewer can touch and play with.
In my own non-biast opinion, McDonalds really do lead the way for fast food resteraunts in terms of advertising. If i have a brief which requires some sort of street advertising i will be looking back at these designs and thinking of ways i could develop on them to make it work for my brief.

Diesel Ads
One of my favorite advertising campaigns in a long time. This recent Diesel campaign is what i love all in one.

This range of ad's really have inspired me. One of my briefs is for a new season at a high-range clothing store - this campaign will inspire my work fo'sho.
